Grouptag is a professional networking platform tailored towards young professionals, with a specific focus on Gen Z individuals.
The platform currently exists as a mobile application with four distinct tabs: 'Network', 'Channels', 'Discover', and 'Profile'. These tabs offer various features such as viewing connections, engaging in idea generation on topics of interest, initiating a wave of greeting towards someone, accessing and sending messages, discovering individuals with similar interests, checking notifications, and sharing the app with others.
However, the current design is limited to the mobile app interface, and Grouptag aims to expand its presence by creating a website. Recognizing the absence of a website catering to its users, Grouptag initiated a research phase to gather insights and generate new ideas, specifically tailored for Gen Z. To accomplish this, I began by conducting a competitive analysis to gain a comprehensive understanding of existing platforms. Furthermore, I actively engaged with users to gather their feedback and preferences, utilizing these insights to inform the design process.
Subsequently, I designed and developed these ideas into a set of high-definition frames, ensuring a visually appealing and user-friendly website interface. These frames encompassed the various sections and functionalities that would enhance the user experience and meet the specific needs of the Gen Z demographic.
Overall, the focus of my research and design efforts for Grouptag revolved around exploring new ideas and concepts for the website interface. By conducting competitive analysis, engaging with users, and creating high-definition frames, I contributed to the development of an innovative website that aligns with the preferences and requirements of Gen Z professionals.
In addition, I have developed a fresh website design that aligns with the updated version of the app.
