Overview:
Aged Care falls is a pressing concern that demands urgent attention. In response to this issue, HealthnSights, a dynamic start-up, has taken on the mission of designing a revolutionary and cost-effective tool for Healthcare and various government organizations. This tool aims to empower nurses and carers working in aged-care facilities to prevent falls among the elderly, ultimately saving lives.
My Responsibilities at Healthnsights:
As a UX Designer at HealthnSights, my primary responsibility is to develop a comprehensive solution using a Human-Centered Design (HCD) approach. To achieve this, I employ a range of methodologies and techniques to gain deep insights into the needs and preferences of our target users.
One of the key steps in this process involves conducting surveys to gather valuable feedback from users. By analyzing their responses, we can identify specific pain points and areas of improvement. Additionally, conducting user interviews allows us to gain a deeper understanding of their experiences, challenges, and expectations regarding fall prevention in aged-care facilities.
Thorough research is an essential component of our approach, I explored existing case studies, and relevant data to gather comprehensive insights into the complexities of fall prevention. This knowledge forms the foundation for our design decisions and helps creating effective solutions that address the underlying causes of falls among the elderly.
As the Lead UX Designer at HealthnSights, I am dedicated to leveraging a Human-Centered Design approach to develop a cost-effective and life-saving tool. Through a comprehensive process that involves research, user insights, design iterations, and testing, we aim to create a tool that effectively addresses the critical issue of falls in the elderly, ultimately enhancing the safety and well-being of the aging population.
